Tigers & Venom Make History

Thanks to Kamloops This Week for the continued coverage

Vernon Tigers and Kamloops Venom made TOJLL history on Saturday night as they competed in the first ever Overtime period on their way to a 9-9 tie. Tigers continue to hold a slight lead over the Venom for top spot. Kordell Primus continued his hot start with 4 goals and a pair of helpers while rookie Kaden Doughty supplied a smooth hat-trick for the first place Tigers. The teams will tangle again on June 9.

Action continues Monday night in the South Okanagan as the Flames host the winless Shamrocks in a rematch of last weeks wild Flames win. Chace Moog (5+4) and Jake Mcleod (4+4) paced the Flames while Mykl Drabiuk notched three goals to lead the Shamrocks.
