Preview:

An age old rivalry resumes as the Kamloops Venom take on the Vernon Tigers in a best-of-five series to determine the 2024 Thompson-Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League Champion.

This will be the eleventh meeting between these to clubs for the championship. The Venom won the title in 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2023. The Vernon Tigers garnered the coveted trophy in 2009, 2013, 1014, and 2018.

Total championships for these two perennial contenders is as follows ...

Kamloops will be looking to complete the trifecta, having won in 2022 and 2023. The Tigers are wishing to regain a championship after not earning their berth the final since 2018.

On paper the Kamloops Venom look to already have the trophy in hand however, the Tigers have been playing much better, as a team,  of late so, they will look to snatch that trophy away. 

If, past meetings, between these two antagonists, is any indication of what is to come, this looks to be a very, very intense battle for supremacy. It is no secret that while they respect each others organization there is no love lost towards either, dislike is too tame a description as to how they feel about their opponent.
